Thanks for Another Great Sale!

Well, we did it again! Thank-you to all the shoppers and sellers who made this sale the biggest one yet. A special thank-you goes out to the Markham Economist and the Markham Fairgrounds for their sponsorship, without their support the sale would likely not run. I would also like to thank all of the volunteers who assisted with set up and my family members for their hard work during the busiest times and especially during take down when all the dirty work needs to be done. Thanks also go to Grandma and Grampa for being so helpful with babysitting the night before the sale and for sale day.

At this sale we had over 80 families from York Region and its' surrounding areas participating as sellers. Shoppers were very pleased with the variety of vendors and loved going home with bargains of all sorts. There was clothing galore and lots of great items like strollers, baby carriers, high chairs, exersaucers, books, games, sports equipment and pretty much anything you can think of for kids.

We had a very good turnout of shoppers and were able to admit buyers quickly with our "Fast Track Line". At the peak of the sale it did get a bit difficult to maneuvre a stroller, but we didn't want to stop letting buyers in unless it was necessary. We intend to have more pizza on hand for the next sale for all the hungry sellers and buyers that missed out this time.
